EN8D is a medium carbon steel grade widely used for high-strength engineering applications. It offers a good balance of strength, toughness, ductility, and machinability. Compared to standard EN8, the “D” variant is known for better ductility and machinability, making it suitable for components requiring precision and strength.

EN8D steel is a medium carbon steel that gives a perfect combination of strength, ductility, and machinability.
